Kids birthday parties

When selecting a birthday party theme for your child, put in mind what's your child's favorite color, hobby, sport, character…etc.

After picking a theme, you should start working on the invitations, decorations, games, activities, food and favors!

Here's an idea of a butterfly theme for a girly birthday party

[Invitations]

[Decoratioins]

Butterfly plates

Matching napkins

Cups

Butterfly banners

Butterfly blowers

Butterfly cone hats

Butterfly candles

Butterfly centerpieces

[Favors and gifts]

Butterfly wings

Butterfly gift set

Butterfly headbands

[Food]

Butterfly ice cream sandwiches

Butterfly chocolates on sticks

Butterfly cake

[Games]

Butterfly relay: Break your butterfly birthday party group in 2 teams. Line them up behind the starting line. Place a bunch of toy butterflies about 20 feet from a starting line. Hand nets to first two players in line. They must run to the butterflies, pick as many as they can with their nets, run back, and pass the nets to the next players in line. The team that catches the most butterflies wins.

Kite flying: If the weather permits, take the kids outside to fly their butterfly shaped kites.

Butterfly piñata: Hang a butterfly shaped piñata and fill it with small plastic butterfly rings, mini butterfly hairclips and toys. Give each child a little butterfly bag or net to use for catching the goodies from the piñata.

Great ideas. We recently had a reptile party and it was fantastic.
